We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain Optimisation. In this role you will be responsible for leading the cross-functional efforts that enable our supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth, removing barriers and mitigating risks that impact performance and ensure customer, operational and business needs are met. This role is responsible to design, model, and optimize the supply chain network to ensure the most efficient and cost effective operations through the lowest landed operating models from ingredient, packaging, manufacturing and distribution of finished products.

The Head of Supply Chain Optimisation plays a vital role in the development and execution of ongoing supply chain optimisation and process improvements, resulting in a fast-paced, lean supply chain. The Head of Supply Chain Optimisation is based in the blender, Rotterdam.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and develop operating models business cases and initiatives to lower the overall supply chain cost.
• Develop strategic improvement initiatives to meet long-range goals; assure implementation of these initiatives.
• Build, implement, and maintain optimization tools for the organization and work with cross-functional departments to implement lowest cost scenarios strategically and tactically across all regions.
• Work with Procurement, Innovation, Commercial, Finance and Operations in the development of the Business Cases, development of long-term CapEx programs to deliver a sustainable and reliable operating model.
• Facilitate change to internal processes, practices, and technologies to optimize performance, execute organizational strategy, and achieve targets.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment undergoing growth and transformation.
• Maintain communication routines with broader stakeholders, including Steering Teams, PMO, Bored and other stakeholders regarding project outputs, methodologies, scenario or constraint definitions, status, and prioritization.
• Develop, execute, and implement projects and process improvements including distribution network design, transportation mode selection, inventory hub and spoke optimization, capacity planning and multi-echelon inventory optimization in the supply chain organization to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and training to Supply Chain team members in support of specific projects as well as broader development and performance management.
• Build and implement global supply contingency plans to ensure relevant processes are in place in case of crisis.

Vereisten

You must have:

• Education in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Related Field;
• More than 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Optimisation and Data Analytics;
• Demonstrated communication, collaborative and analytical competencies required;
• Experience producing, interpreting, and communicating forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses;
• Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning experience required;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment undergoing transformation is required;
• Strong coaching, influencing, and presenting skills required;
• Advanced skills with MS Office suite;
• Microsoft Dynamics D365 experience an advantage;
• Project management experience;
• Power BI development and Smartsheet experience a plus.
