Vacature CS Import

The booking department focusses on contacts with (potential) customers, acquisition, quotations, accepting bookings which are put in the system and confirmation of bookings. There is daily contact with agents and the principals in both Hamburg & China.

Omschrijving

* Responsible for accepting & confirming of daily bookings

* Applies the bookings into the IRIS4 system

* Responsible for release of equipment, transfer and splitting bookings

* Takes care of accepting Reefers, IMO and out of gauge cargo and sends application to the principal

* Arranges pre-carriage in cooperation with the trucking department

* Issues and sends first CBF (Container Booking Forecast) to Cosco Europe and Ships Operator

* Takes care of the allocations and requests for extra allocation via Cosco Europe when necessary

* Sends emails to customers by delay of the vessel to prevent extra costs

* Checks the availability of equipment and has daily contact with the Equipment department

* Checks equipment hinterland and via other agents by cross-bookings

* Requests for re-use of containers and checking the possibilities

* Has contact with both customer and agent by delay (destination or transhipment port) and

requests for earlier feeders/transhipment
